Scout Bloggers, Among Others
Oct 8th, 2008 | By admin | Category: Site UpdatesThrough my observations from previous months, I have realised that a significant number of Malaysian scout bloggers are paving the way into mainstream blogging just like their peer in other genre. Some blogs really does impress me, and I feel it is such a waste of not having them credited for their effort in blogging about Malaysian scouting.
These posse of cyber catalyst are silent helpers that will help Malaysian scout movement gaining momentum, attracting new members thus, making itself an ultimate marketing tool without PPM even knowing.
Seeing the influx of these disciples of Baden-Powell, I was quick to decide thus dedicating them a goodie - a dedicated category under the Malaysian scouting category in DMOZ.org called 'Scouts Blogger'. I hope it will remain there untouched and not being deleted by those known pesky editors who doesn't have any form of understanding of Malaysian scouting scene.
MSGP Welcoming Write-Ups
MSGP operate alone with a single operator that is me, the ADMIN. I operate overseas and therefore I have very limited knowledge of what's going on in Malaysian scouting/guiding scene. On relation to that, I would welcome anyone from the active Malaysian scouting & guiding community to come forward to assist me in reporting any events around your hood and localities.
No experience necessary as long you are willing to report your stuff professionally, accurately and honestly. For starters, if you plan to be a SEASONAL reporter, just join in the forum and drop any write-up in the appropriate topic and i will edit them before featuring them in the frontpage.
For those who plan to help me SERIOUSLY, please email me here.I will work my best in providing you an access to the backend for your ease of posting. This 'offer' is for those who really wanna help not only the site but also to help Malaysian scouting community.
Thanks
