The Jamboree Organizing Committee of the 26th APR Scout Jamboree met for the third time on 10th February 2009 at the national office of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP). BSP coordinators, representing various committees, reported on the progress of Jamboree departments, monitoring every detail to ensure the success of the regional jamboree.
Scouting officials and the business community gathered in a fundraising cocktail held on 16th January 2009 at the Makati Shangri-La, Makati City, Philippines to raise funds for the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Foundation. The Foundation supports communities in developing countries in the region through community-based development projects.
JAMBOREE FEE
Registration Fee for overseas participants is US$200.00 per person covering meals for the duration of the Jamboree, participation in Jamboree program and activities, insurance coverage, transportation from Manila airport to Jamboree site and back, use of tents and other camp equipment.
